  • Develop and apply research-based coaching practices, both understanding the academic foundations of effective coaching and receiving supervision and feedback on client sessions.
  • Demonstrate International Coaching Federation (ICF) competencies (elements of the program are ICF-accredited coach training).
  • Facilitate clients’ emotional intelligence, self-expression, goal achievement, and personal emergence.

Competency in the program outcomes –which is achieved in depth through the cumulative completion of the Master of Arts degree program – is developed to varying degrees in the certificate programs.
